レンズ歪み補正は、カメラレンズの光学特性によって生じる画像の歪みを取り除くためのツールです。広角レンズでは画像の周辺部が外側に膨らむ「樽型歪み」が、望遠レンズでは中央に引き込まれる「糸巻き型歪み」が発生しやすくなります。建築写真では直線が曲がって見え、不動産写真では部屋の形が実際と異なって映ることがあります。
このツールは Brown-Conrady モデルに基づく放射歪み補正を Canvas 上のピクセル単位で行い、バイリニア補間によって滑らかな補正結果を実現します。補正強度を負の値にすると樽型歪みの除去、正の値にすると糸巻き型歪みの除去として機能します。

Lens Distortion Correction removes optical distortion from photographs caused by camera lens characteristics. Wide-angle lenses tend to produce barrel distortion where edges bulge outward, while telephoto lenses can cause pincushion distortion where edges are pulled inward.
